  • Store Items by Group – Arrange the food items and utensils according to their type. For example, salt, pepper, vinegar and other related items must fill the space intended for condiments and spices. All canned goods must be grouped together in their assigned racks or shelves. Grouping the items will make them more convenient to pick up.
  • Store Items by Necessity – Although most of the items contained inside the kitchen pantry are constantly needed for food preparation, it is still advisable to have things arranged according to the frequency of use. Food seasonings and condiments are often placed on the top shelf, while the least picked-up items are stored further below. The cuttlery and other similar cooking equipments are often tucked away in the most accessible drawers.
